Concept, Character & Prop Modeling, Texturing, Dialogue & Story

For Haunted Hues, I worked primarily on bringing the characters and enemies to life. I created concepts based on suggestions from the team, deciding what character we wanted to have in game how their design contributes to the story. I drew turnarounds for the characters as well as sculpted them in Zbrush. After a high poly sculpt, I would retopologize the character meshes in Maya and have them animation and game ready. Characters were kept as low poly with no softened edges as a stylistic choice decided by our team. As characters were passed to rigging, I was also responsible for texturing the characters. All texturing was done in Substance painter. The goal was to showcase a painterly style in the texturing amongst the characters as well as to show off their different personalities with their unique designs. I prioritized detail in the works of the characters as they were to be interactable with the player.

I also worked as a prop modeler for some assets used as decor such as the planter, stanchion, and some art pieces in the art gallery. I also helped work in set design, ensuring there was cohesiveness among levels.
